the whole idea
Nothing here came out of a template.
I’m Amey. I design the things organisations need people to actually read — the poster on the corridor wall, the flyer pressed into someone’s hand at the door, the graphic that has half a second to stop a thumb. Churches, schools and small businesses, mostly.
Every job starts with the same question: who is going to see this, and what do they need to do about it? Then it gets built from scratch around that answer — laid out, typeset and drawn to fit the job, rather than poured into something that already existed.

Posters & flyers
Event posters, service flyers, programmes. Print-ready A3 or A4, plus the crops you need for a feed.
Social & digital
Square, portrait and story-sized graphics, stream cards and thumbnails — sized so nothing important gets cropped.
Invitations & save-the-dates
Weddings, christenings, anniversaries and open days — as a printed card, a digital send-out, or both.
Logos & brand marks
A mark, the type that sits with it, and the colours — handed over in the formats you'll actually be asked for.
Business cards & print
Cards, banners, roll-ups and signage, set up properly with bleed so the printer doesn't send it back.
Hand-drawn cards
The one-of-one division: greeting cards drawn, lettered and cut entirely by hand. Never printed, never repeated.

Everything above is designed on screen. This isn’t. Greeting cards drawn, lettered, painted and cut by hand for one person — built around the in-joke only the two of you have. Nothing is printed, and no design is ever made twice.

How a job actually runs

Tell me about it
What's the job, who's going to see it, and what do you need them to do once they have? Rough notes are fine — a date scribbled on a phone counts.
- 02
You see a draft
A first layout with the real words in place, before anything is polished. Change anything you like at this stage — that's what it's for.
- 03
We tighten it up
Two rounds of changes are built into every job. Wording, colours, a swapped photo, the sponsor logo that turned up late.
- 04
You get the files
Print-ready at the right size and bleed, plus the crops you need for socials and screens — named so you can tell them apart.
